Hi, I’m Joseph and I take care of the Allianz travel insurance business in Singapore.

Aside from work, I enjoy enriching my life by engaging in various activities. My main interests are travelling, sports, music and chilling with friends and family.

I start each day with an aim of providing the best solutions for the people I work with.

This includes a diversified client portfolio which includes airlines, travel agents (online and offline), financial institutions and cruise lines amongst others.

I also source for new partnerships by presenting our unique value proposition of a fully customisable and innovative solution.

At Allianz Travel, there is no one size fits all but rather a plug and play.

At the end of the day, we are solving problems and ultimately bringing value to our partners and the end consumers.

• There is never a boring day when I am not engaged. I learn from my clients who are the experts in the travel industry. Change is the only constant in travel. My daily interactions with these wonderful people keep my creative juices flowing on how to design the next innovative product based on market demands.

Objectively speaking… Of course! We provide a fully comprehensive coverage which gives you peace of mind when travelling. Whether your flight is delayed, you lost your wallet, or you’re met with an accident, you can rest assured that it will be taken care of.

What sets us apart is that we have our own in-house emergency medical assistance team (yes, our own team of doctors and nurses) to provide adequate emergency advice and assistance when it is most needed.

Be an informed buyer. There are many budget travel insurance in the market which may not adequately cover you in times of need. Make it a point to read through the policy wording, especially for the benefits that matter most to you.

A 2-week road trip in the South Island of New Zealand with my then girlfriend (now wife) and a few mates. We were still students then so it was youth hostels rather than glitz and glamour. The drive was scenic and every picture taken was postcard worthy. People were nice, the scenery was majestic and the company was excellent. Reflecting on this makes me realise that the simple things in life bring you the most happiness.
